Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using MyPets you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

What MyPets is

MyPets is a free app for pet owners in Armenia: a directory of pet-friendly places, vets and groomers; pet profiles; and a community where owners report lost pets, help find them, and look for mates for their pets. We do our best to keep the directory accurate, but opening hours, prices and services are provided by the businesses and can change — please confirm with the place before you go.

Your account

Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. One person, one account. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

Your content

Everything you post — pet profiles, photos, lost-pet reports, mating requests, comments, reviews — stays yours. By posting it you give MyPets a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it inside the service so that it can be shown to other users. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users have already shared.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you post — for example, that the photos are yours and that any phone number you include is one you may share.

Community rules

MyPets exists to help pets and the people who love them. To keep it that way, you agree not to:

• Post anything false or misleading, including fake lost-pet reports or invented sightings.
• Harass, threaten or insult other users, or post hateful content.
• Advertise, spam, run scams, or ask for money in connection with a lost pet or a mating request.
• Post content that shows or promotes cruelty to animals, illegal breeding, or the sale of animals where that is prohibited.
• Post sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate content, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Share other people's personal information without their consent.
• Use bots, scrape the service, or try to break or overload it.

Reporting and blocking

Every post and comment has a Report option, and every user can be blocked from a post or comment. Blocking hides that person's content from you; you can undo it in Profile → Blocked users. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules. Repeated or serious violations lead to suspension or deletion of the account without notice. We may also remove any content at our discretion where we believe it harms users, animals or the service.

Lost pets, mating and meeting people

MyPets connects pet owners; it does not verify them. When you call or meet someone through the app, use the same care you would with any stranger: meet in public places, do not pay rewards in advance, and check a pet's health and documents before any breeding. MyPets is not a party to any arrangement between users and is not responsible for the outcome of a search, a mating, or a meeting.

Businesses in the directory

A listing in the directory is not an endorsement. Reviews reflect the opinions of the users who wrote them. If you run a business and want your listing corrected or removed, write to us.

Our content

The MyPets name, paw logo, design and software belong to MyPets. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission, apart from sharing posts using the app's own Share feature.

Availability and liability

MyPets is provided free of charge, "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPets is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from content posted by users or from interactions between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using MyPets and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections about your content licence, liability and governing law continue to apply after the account is closed.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes are resolved by the courts of Yerevan. We may update these terms; if the change is significant we will notify you in the app, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use MyPets after that means you accept the new terms.
